Supply Chain Management NVQ Level 3

A Level 3 candidate will be experienced in a day to day purchasing role with considerable responsibilities for the activities relating to the supply chain. This will include data gathering and monitoring of performance. The candidate will have a good understanding of the legal and commercial aspects of awarding and managing contracts.

Supply Chain Management NVQ Level 4

The Level 4 candidate will be an experienced buyer generally holding a senior buyer or purchasing management position. They will operate across a broad sphere of company operations having some responsibilities for staff supervision or influencing other decision makers within the organisation. They will perform a lead role within their organisations supply chain. Candidates holding a Level 4 NVQ in supply chain management may gain direct access to membership of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS).
